A Business Web Design is for organizations who wish to establish a presence online and inform potential customers and clients about their products or services, but not offer a way to purchase them online.

A Basic business website design would consist of graphic design, text, images, and possibly icons or Flash Design. The focus, or what marketing people refer to as the "Call to Action", would be to contact the company directly through listed phone numbers. No database or e-Commerce solutions would be involved.

For instance, a good example of a business web site design would be a law firm site. Its only purpose is to provide information about the law firm, and to convince the visitor that "this is the firm to go with". Nothing would be sold online and no customer data would be stored.
